Magpie is a social enterprise operated by AVA. Since 1999, we have been reselling donated goods which not only helps reduce waste by diverting from landfill, but means we can support local people and promote a more sustainable way of living. Every donation and purchase allows us to reinvest in services that benefit our communities across Aberdeenshire, while playing a crucial role in Scotland's circular economy.

Your support in action

We work with a variety of local partners to help individuals and families in need by providing essential furniture and household items. We also work closely with the South Aberdeenshire Foodbank to ensure support reaches those who need it most.
